-Grammar and syntax -language development

0-18 months
Your child should begin to put sentences together they usually start out with two words ,child may say "want bottle" and you would say "do you want your bottle" them give the child the bottle . You will do this each time the child says a two word sentence.
18-36 months
Your child should be using three and four words in a sentence this will happen only if you have been helping your child with language development.
36-60 months
Your child should be able to use sentences with 5 to 7 words to describe people, places or events.

Just a reminder this will not happen by chance you will need to help your child to build these skills by creating different experiences for him. When you read a book ask what was your favorite part and why ? Which character did you like . When your child comes home ask how was your day etc. If you are walking speak with your child instead of being on your cell the duration of your walk. If you are driving  talk about things that you both observe.
