Your toddler is now three years and four months and getting him to cooperate is a challenge . is favorite word is NO and Mine.So how do you get your toddler to cooperate ? You need to have patience and sharpen your negotiation skills. You have to negotiate with your toddler ,remain calm and do not raise your voice.
An example:
Sometimes when you want to dress your toddler she will start playing she may hid under the table or under the bed . She wants you to chase her but you need to get to work and wants to leave. She is giggling and running from you . You can try this - John all your friends are waiting to see you and you need to get dress ,do you want to see your friends today ? She may say yes that will be great then you can follow up be reminding her about the great time she will have while you get her dress.
Toddlers love to test you but you should remain calm remember that you are the mirror that you toddler is views the world through and will imitate how you respond to experiences.
Getting your toddler to cooperate is a process because your toddler is impulsive .
