Transition

School is starting and you will now have to add the school schedule to yours . If you four year old is going to school for the first time here are some of the skills that he should have :

• Should be able to wash her hands 
• Go to the bathroom without heap
• Should be able to dress self 
• Should be able to clean up
• Should be able to put her straw in her juice
• should be able to ask for help when frustrated 
• Should take initiative
• Should be able to follow at least two directives
• Should be able to play alone/in a group
• Should be able to do active listening/passive listening
• Should be able to walk up and down stairs 
• Should be able to respond appropriately to questions . example What is your favorite part of the story.
• Should be able to focus on an activity for at least 10 mins
