Language development-observation

Ajani will be 3years on 9/27/14


It is 6:28 am on Monday September  and Ajani is up . He climb on the book shelf and take out Ninos Mask. "mommy read story" Do you want to hear your favorite story his mother  asked ? She just helped him to extend his language skills. He is sitting and he is reading the book to his mom. He is counting the items on the page. He counts 12 items. He is being very gentle with the pages. He has  a lot of experience with books.


He shows his mother his finger . I have a booboo . His mother touches it  . Oh that hurts he said. He is now kicking his cones.
 Ajani let's put the book away . He is not responding to that statement. Ajani lets clean up the book, he responds and put the book away. I want big world  he takes out the DVD. He opens the DVD case and is now .
He does not understand the phrase "put this way as yet but he understands clean up. We will use the other phrase more often with him long with the action . Young  children must understand language in order for them to cooperate with our request. It is very important for you to be in tune with your infant/toddler in order to guide them along the developmental line.
