Your infant/toddler loves to engage in pretend play. You will notice that once they begin to walk they will try to put your shoes on. You should provide items for you infant/toddler to engage in pretend play. You can begin with items such as and old telephone, the ones with the buttons to press. Infants love to push buttons and this will also help with their fine motor skills . You can provide a hat and old glasses and a necklace. You do not have to go out and purchase items in order to get your infant/toddler ready for school. They love to play with pots they usually make music with the pots. You can also engage your toddler in pretend play, a great one is using the telephone .
