Exposure is key

Though your child is young and can not articulate what they want you should still take them out to different places. This allows them to socialize but also to learn different behaviors for different situations.

You can teach how to follow directions, how to share and cooperate.

I took Ajani to the Brooklyn Children's Museum over the weekend and he had a great time as he always does. He wanted to go down the slide but was going from the opposite side, I explained to him he has to go around to the other side. As I explained we did the action at the same time. Over time he will remember which end to start from. It also eliminates a potential accident by another child coming down as he's trying to go up the incorrect end.

Be well
