First day at a formal school setting

Observation 
Monday June 29th,2015
Time: began 8:00am

We all walked in the drop off room. There are two adults and a toddler who is screaming . We said good morning Ajani walked over to one of the adults and handed her his lunch bag"this is mine" really the adult responded I will put it away for you . "OK". He walked over to the stove and began to play and complained ,"there is no water". Remember it is a play stove and the sink will not have water,I reminded him. He went to the block area after a few minutes he said"look NaNa pointing to a structure that he build" ." Wow what is that "?He did not respond . He then went and took up the chalk and began writing on the

floor."No Ajani you have to write on the chalk board ",his mom explained. He went over to the board and drew this picture. You can see that his fine motor skills are in tact, that's his big robot he drew.
