Listening skills - Communication
Listening skills are very important in order for your children to learn when they get to pre-school. But you cannot wait until she gets to pre-school to learn that skill. For your new baby you should be playing soothing music for the baby , reading stories and speaking with the baby. The brain is developing and the different areas that is responsible for different functions is being developed. This also teaches your baby how to focus. Yesterday I had a conversation with a young lady from Maryland who works in a pre-school and she told me that many of her special needs children have needs because:they cannot hold a pencil, cannot sit still, are not able to play etc. Some of these challenges can be avoided if parents get the knowledge about what they should be doing at home.
