Repetition
Infants/toddlers learn from doing the same thing over and over until they have mastered the skill. Building competence and confidence and self esteem means that you should give young children the chance to develop those skills. You should be in tune with your infant /toddler this will help you to help her to the next stage. Once she has mastered doing a particular puzzle you need to introduce a more challenging one and give her some time to master it. When you first introduce the new puzzle you will complete the with her a few times. She will not stop until she can complete it on her own. Infants/toddlers love to learn but the experiences must be age appropriate and time must be given in order for the infant/toddler to master a new skill.
